To strengthen iXS's sports division (Bike), we are searching for an experienced, motivated, open-minded, and passionate personality as:

IXS DIVISION MANAGER SALES AND MARKETING (M/F/D)

Workload: 100% / Location: Sursee (Lucerne Canton of Switzerland)

YOUR AREA OF ​​RESPONSIBILITY

Division responsibility for sales & marketing strategy, implementation, and measurement with focus on existing international markets and business growth into new potential and strategical relevant territories. 

- Brand positioning, messaging, and representation.
- Maintaining and nurturing customer relationships.
- Administer/manage customers and/or territorial sales representatives in a close collaboration with the Backoffice sales & supply management.
- Directly responsible for the company's revenue and profit within the B2B channel.
- Develop plans and implement strategies for developing wholesale business and achieving the company's sales and profit goals.
- Maintaining sustainable growth by implementation of sales strategy in existing territories as well tactfully targeted new territory extensions. Maximize our distribution, sales & service footprint.
- Regular performance reporting directly to management
- Manage resources (budget & organization) to meet and exceed financial targets.
- Facilitate launches for new products to accounts and advises on strategies for go-to-market.
- Work closely with the sales, supply, and marketing team to establish intel and successful channel and partner programs.
- Compile information and data related to customer, markets, products, positioning, and prospect interactions.
- Cultivate relationships with key accounts and ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships.
- Monitor competitors, market conditions and target customer trends.
- Maintain close relationship with brand management and development team on new products, based on customer feedback and needs.
- In-depth brand/product knowledge and education by means of sales presentations, training, and international meetings in English (industry jargon specific).
- Administrative responsibilities on selected territories (but not limited to) associated between the brand's back office and customer management in order to ensure efficacy and efficiency. 

YOUR PROFILE

- Passionate about mountain biking (Gravity/Freeride/All mountain). Understanding of the motorcycle industry an advantage.
- Strong affinity in relationship building/networking, connecting, and communicating.
- 10+ years of specific international experience in bicycle (mountain bike) B2B business, sales, and marketing.
- History and experience in strategical business development, middle-upper management, and people management.
- Native communication skills in English (oral and written), with basic German reading/speaking as an advantage.
- Proven entrepreneurial skills working within a corporate structure.
- Sales and marketing history and/or experience in the Americas, Australasia, and southern Africa.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to translate goals and targets into recommendations, insights, and functional execution.
- Reliable and able to manage one's own tasks and workflow with attention to defined and/or time-sensitive deadlines.
- High degree of self-discipline and self-confidence.
- Experience in cross-cultural marketing and communication a requirement.
- Diversity management across all diversity facets (gender, race, religious orientation, etc.) to facilitate inclusivity and political correctness.
- Interest and availability for frequent international travel, with inclusion of annual events, tradeshows, and weekend trips.
- Knowledge and historical relation to Hostettler Group companies, subsidiaries and or trade/supply chain partners an advantage.
- Technical understanding of materials and manufacturing processes specific to the bicycle industry.
- Ability to read and understand product specifications and drawings in 2D and 3D.
- Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with ERP, BI systems, and CRM an advantage
